Symbolic power is the reason for discipline used against another to ensure that individual’s placement in a social hierarchy, at times in individual interaction but most in essence through system corporations, in particular education and learning. The concept of symbolic power was introduced by The french language sociologist Pierre Bourdieu to are the reason for the tacit practically unconscious modes associated with cultural/social domination occurring within the everyday social habits maintained over cognizant subjects.
