The aim of this lecture is to present on Crime and Deviance. Crime is an act or failure to act that breaks the law of the land. Deviance means actions that do not conform to the norms or expectations of members of society. Social deviance is a phenomenon that has existed in all societies where there have been norms. A Criminal Act can become a deviant act and some deviant acts can become criminal. Here also briefly describe on what is the difference between a criminal act and a deviant act.
