Evolutionary physiology is the study of physiological progression, which is to say, the approach in which the practical characteristics of persons in a population of organisms have responded to assortment across numerous generations during the history of the inhabitants. It is a sub discipline of both physiology and evolutionary biology. Practitioners in this field come from a mixture of backgrounds, together with physiology, evolutionary ecology, environmental science and genetics.
