It is a broadly described annual report of Bank of India in the year of 2011-2012. During the financial year, The Bank’s Operating Profit growth of 24.3% during FY2011-12 against 14.3% growth during 2010-11. From Rs. 5,384 Crore during FY 2010-11, the Operating Profit of the Bank increased to Rs. 6,694 Crore during FY2011-12. Net Profit of the Bank for FY 2011-12 rose by 7.6% from Rs. 2,489 Crore during FY 2010-11 to Rs. 2,678 Crore during FY 2011-12. The Bank’s Total Deposits went up from Rs. 2,98,886 Crore as on 31st March 2011 to Rs. 3,18,216 Crore as on 31st March 2012. The Earning per Share (EPS) of the Bank for FY2011-12 stood higher at Rs. 48.98 against Rs. 47.35 in FY2010-11.
The Board of Directors of the Bank has declared a Dividend at the rate of Rs. 7/- per share (@70%) for the year.
