Active Learning

Active learning is a model of instruction that focuses the duty of learning on learners. It had been popularized in the actual 1990s by its appearance for the Association for the learning of Higher Education (ASHE) report (Bonwell & Eison 1991). In this statement they discuss a number of methodologies for promoting “active learning”. Active learning engages students in two aspects – doing things and thinking about the things they are doing.
