Cumulative Process

Cumulative Process

According to the idea of cumulative process, if the natural rate was not add up to the market price, demand for investment and level of savings would not necessarily be equal. If the market rate is underneath the natural rate, a good economic expansion arises and prices go up. The resulting inflation depresses the actual interest rate and also causes further expansion and further price increases.
