Energy demand management, also known as demand side administration, is the customization of consumer desire for energy by means of various methods like financial incentives and behavioral change by means of education. Usually, the objective of demand side management would be to encourage the consumer to use less energy through peak hours, or move the time of energy use to off-peak times like nighttime and weekends.
