Main objective of this article is to discuss the fundamentals of Enterprise Resource Planning. Enterprise resource planning is common business management software—usually any suite of integrated applications—that a firm can use to recover, store, manage and interpret data from many business actions, like: product planning, Marketing and sales, inventory management, transport and payment. ERP provides a built-in view of core business processes, usually in real-time, using common databases maintained by a database management process. The main objective of Enterprise resource planning would be to provide a centralized and unified repository for all details that may be shared by all departments for speedy and smooth operations from the company.
