Goldratt throughout his 1984 book entitled The Goal, that is geared to help organizations continually accomplish their goals. The theory of constraints is really a management paradigm that vistas any manageable system to be limited in achieving far more of its goals by a very small number of constraints. There is always a minimum of one constraint, and TOC works on the focusing process to discover the constraint and restructure all of those other organization around it.
