The workforce of a country includes both the employed and the actual unemployed. The workforce or even labour force is the labour pool throughout employment. It is normally used to describe those working for a single firm or industry, but can also apply to the geographic region like a city, state, or country. Formal and informal labour can be divided into the subcategories of agricultural work and non-agricultural work.
