Prime objective of this article is to explain common mistakes in Strategic Planning. Strategy has many descriptions, but generally consists of setting goals, determining actions to own goals, and mobilizing methods to execute those things. Strategic planning is surely an organization’s process of understanding its strategy, or path, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this plan. It may also extend to control mechanisms for guiding the implementation with the strategy. Strategic planning can be a systematic process of envisioning any desired future, and translating this vision into broadly defined goals or objectives and also a sequence of steps to achieve them.
