Funding strategic initiatives that can make a contribution to strategy implementation. Managers implementing and executing a new or different strategy must identify the resource requirements of each new strategic initiative and then consider whether the current pattern of resource allocation and the budgets of the various subunits are suitable. Managing Information Systems (MIS) provide business managers with reports on earlier period and current business performance, therefore facilitating the monitoring of actual organizational performance and assisting the prediction of future ones. Management Information Systems (MIS) is defined as addressing the needs for those managers interested in annual, monthly and weekly results as compared to day today results.
