Primary objective of this lecture is to present on Progressivism. Progressivism is a series of reform movements during the late 1800 and early 1900s. Progressives sought the following: Temperance; Reform of the government; Suffrage for women; Better working conditions; More government regulation and Efficient industry. Progressivism is the term applied to a variety of responses to the economic and social problems rapid industrialization introduced to America.
