Rogerian argument is a conflict solving technique determined by finding common ground instead of polarizing debate. Baumlin explains the Rogerian Argument: “The Rogerian tactic, in which participants in a discussion collaborate to find elements of shared experience, thus allows speaker and audience to open up their worlds to each other” and on this attempt at mutual understanding there’s the possibility, at least, of persuasion.
