Ecological Sanitation

Ecological sanitation, commonly abbreviated to ecosan, is a tactic which is seen as a desire in order to safely “close loop” between sanitation and agriculture. Ecosan systems properly recycle excreta sources to crop production so that the using non-renewable resources is minimised. When effectively designed and handled, ecosan systems can attempt to provide a hygienically risk-free and closed-loop process to convert individual excreta into nutrients to become returned to your soil, and water to become returned to land.
