Behavioral Ecology - Assignment Point
Behavioral Ecology
Subject: Biology | Topics:

The value of a social behavior depends to some extent on the social behavior of an animal’s neighbors. By example, the more likely a rival male is usually to back down from the threat, the more value a male gets away from making the danger. Behavioral ecology is the study of evolutionary basis with regard to animal behavior caused by ecological pressures. Behavioral evolution is therefore influenced by both the physical environment and interactions between other individuals.
