Multisensory integration also relates to how different sensory modalities interact collectively and alter each other’s processing. Multisensory integration, also referred to as multimodal integration, will be the study of how information from the different sensory techniques, such as look, sound, touch, aroma, self-motion and tastes, may be integrated from the nervous system.
