Fuel Cell
Subject: Chemistry | Topics:

A fuel cell is a device that turns the chemical energy coming from a fuel into electricity via a chemical reaction of positively charged hydrogen ions having oxygen or an additional oxidizing agent. Fuel cells are vary from batteries in that they require a continuing source of energy and oxygen or air to sustain the chemical effect, whereas in the battery the chemicals seen in the battery react jointly to generate a electromotive force.
