Geolocation

Geolocation provides the location of a device but is generally used in a variety of applications to help locate human users. It works through a pre-built GPS in a device that propagates the device’s longitudinal and latitudinal coordinates. It is the process of finding, determining and providing the exact location of a computer, networking device or equipment. Geolocation is closely related to the use of positioning systems but may be distinguished from it by a greater emphasis on determining a meaningful location rather than just a set of geographic coordinates. The word geolocation is also the latitude and longitude coordinates of a particular location.
