Hopfield Networks are constructed from artificial neurons. It consists of a set of interconnected neurons which update their activation values asynchronously. The activation values are binary, usually {-1,1}. The update of a unit depends on the other units of the network and on itself. Hopfield Network also consists of a set of neurons and corresponding set of unit delays, forming a multiple loop feedback system. Hopfield networks also provide a model for understanding human memory.
