Radio Frequency Identification

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a somewhat latest technology that is used for mechanical identification. By this technology, data can be distantly retrieved through distant devices called RFID tags. Also recognized as transponders, RFID tags are chips which are emotionally involved or may be inserted into goods, animals and even citizens. Radio waves are used to simply recognize these chips and the information contained within. The transponders are usually prepared of silicone and are attached with antennas.
