The symbols might be either informal or formal ranging from predefined graphical layouts to formal target models defined through grammars and technical specs. Other objectives are: Construct a context model in order to communicate project scope and boundaries and Prepare use case diagrams to depict the scope and boundaries of a system in terms of actors and use cases. Finally construct a class structure diagram to depict the objects of the system and explain how they are related to each other.
