Structural Robustness
Subject: Engineering | Topics:

Structural Robustness designed and constructed to be robust should not have problems with disproportionate collapse (progressive collapse) below accidental loading. Complexes of some types, especially large-panel devices and precast concrete buildings, are disproportionately more prone to collapse; others, including in situ forged concrete structures, are disproportionately less sensitive.
