Principle objective of this lecture is to present on Bonners Ferry. In mid-October of 1998, a section of hillside north of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, moved in response to gravity, wiping out a portion of HW95, the railway and powerlines. It grew out of a river crossing for prospectors heading to gold discoveries in Canada in the 1860’s. Finally focus on what type of mass wasting occurred here.
