Tropical Wave - Assignment Point
Tropical Wave
Subject: Geography | Topics:

A tropical wave normally follows an area of sinking, extremely dry air, blowing in the northeast. After the passage from the trough line, the actual wind veers southeast, the actual humidity abruptly increases, and the setting destabilizes. This produces widespread showers along with thunderstorms, sometimes significant. As the trend moves westward, the actual showers gradually abate.
