Basic purpose of this lecture is to present on Balanced Diet. A balanced diet should contain the following :- Fats, Carbohydrates, Proteins, Vitamins and Minerals. A balanced diet is not a crash diet, it is a way of eating all of the right nutrients that your body needs in order to be healthy. Everyone’s bodies are different and often individuals require a different amount and type of nutrients. These are used for the growth and repair of body tissue. Protein deficiency can result in malnutrition.
