Bioidentical hormones are thought as biologically identical to what the body manufactures. Their molecular structure is a similar as the molecular structure of hormones made by the body. They originate from plant sources such as soy, wild yam and other plant extracts and are also synthesized in a lab to replicate the hormones by the body processes.
