Human Proteome Corporation has served being a coordinating body for several long-running proteomics research projects associated with certain human tissues connected with clinical interest, like blood plasma, liver, brain and urine. The Human Proteome Project (HPP) is a collaborative effort coordinated by the Human Proteome Corporation. Its stated goal is always to experimentally observe all the proteins produced by the sequences translated through the human genome.
