Metatarsal Stress
Subject: Health | Topics:

A metatarsal stress fracture is a comprehensive or unfinished break in the foot involving one or more of the longer foot bones, and is caused by concentrated exercise or repetitive pressure on the edge. The wear and wound in the bone exceeds the bone’s capability to heal and repair the injury, resulting in a breakdown of the bone, causing a stress or fatigue fracture.
