Bayes’ Theorem
Subject: Mathematic | Topics:

Bayes’ Theorem actually used in a wide variety of contexts, ranging from marine biology to the development of “Bayesian” spam blockers for email systems. In the philosophy of science, it has been used to try to clarify the relationship between theory and evidence. It  is used directly as part of a particular approach to statistical inference.  However, Bayes’ theorem has applications in a wide range of calculations involving probabilities, not just in Bayesian inference.
