Deductive Reasoning
Subject: Mathematic | Topics:

Deductive reasoning is a logical process in which a conclusion is based on the concordance of multiple premises which might be generally assumed to become true. Deductive reasoning is sometimes known as top-down logic. Its counterpart, inductive reasoning, is sometimes known as bottom-up logic. Deductive reasoning links premises with conclusions. If all premises are true, the terms are clear, and the policies of deductive logic are followed, then the finish reached is necessarily true.
