Cardiac arrhythmia is a group of conditions in how the heartbeat is infrequent, too fast, or even too slow. A heartbeat that is too fast – above 100 beats for each minute in adults – is named tachycardia and a heartbeat that is too slow – below 60 beats for each minute – is named bradycardia. Many arrhythmias don’t have a symptoms. When symptoms can be found these may contain palpitations or experiencing a pause among heartbeats.
