Basic objective of this lecture is to present on Conductors and Insulators. By this lecture you can learn: how Heat Energy flows from high to low temperatures. A Conductor is a material that allows heat energy to flow through it quickly. Some materials are better conductors than others. Insulators are materials that are poor conductors of heat energy. Also know that conduction in solids, liquids and gases can be explained with the Particle model. Metals such as copper typify conductors, while most non-metallic solids are said to be good insulators, having extremely high resistance to the flow of charge through them.
