Dielectric Barrier Discharge
Subject: Physics | Topics:

A dielectric barrier discharge produced using mica sheets as dielectric, place on two steel dishes as electrode. The discharge is taking place in normal atmospheric atmosphere, at about 35 kHz, with a discharge gap of about 4 mm. The “foot” in the discharge is the particular charge accumulation on the barrier surface. Dielectric barrier discharge is the electrical discharge between two electrodes separated by an insulating dielectric barrier.
