Electromagnetic Spectrum

The electromagnetic spectrum is the range of different types of EM radiation. Radiation is energy that travels and spreads out the way it goes – the visible light that arises from a lamp in your house and the radio waves that come from a radio station are two sorts of electromagnetic radiation. The other sorts of EM radiation comprise the electromagnetic range are microwaves, infrared lighting, ultraviolet light, X-rays and gamma-rays.
