The gravitational field is the force field that exists inside the space around just about every mass or gang of masses. This field extends out everywhere, but the magnitude with the gravitational force decreases as the distance from the object increases. It is actually measured in devices of force for every mass, newtons for every kilogram (N/kg). A gravitational field is a variety of force field and is also analogous to power and magnetic grounds for electrically charged particles and magnets, respectively.
