Primary purpose of this lecture is to present on High Altitude Balloons. These balloons are filled with helium or hydrogen and expand as they ascend through Earth’s atmosphere. The most common type of high altitude balloons are weather balloons. High Altitude Balloons are abbreviation of “les habitants,” the informal name given to the original settlers of New France, dating back to the 17th Century.
