Lifecycle of the Sun - Assignment Point
Lifecycle of the Sun

The Sun is an ordinary middle-sized star. The sun creates energy by nuclear fusion in its core. The visible surface of the Sun is called the photosphere. The Sun begins its life like any other star, from the dust and gas in a swirling cloud. The particles condense together until there is enough pressure to begin nuclear fusion. At this point in the Sun’s life-cycle, it is a star in the main sequence phase of life. Features on the sun include sunspots, prominences, spicules and faculae.
