This report focus on Conventional Alkali Scouring and BioScouring on Cotton Knitted Fabric. In the conventional processing, grey fabric has to undergo a series of chemical treatments before it turns into a finished fabric. This process includes scouring, mercerization, bleaching and washing. The basic objectives are to investigate the subsequent properties of the treated cotton knitted fabric and study the eco-friendly characteristics of the processes. Finally find out the more effective process of scouring.
