Lecture on Federalism

General purpose of this lecture is to present on Federalism. When Federal troops are sent to make states follow federal laws, this struggle for power is called federalism. The Civil Rights Movement was mostly getting the federal government to make state governments to follow federal law. The term federalism is derived from the Latin root foedus, which means “formal agreement or covenant.” It includes the interrelationships between the states as well as between the states and the federal government.
