This article is based on Protections of Indigenous People. Bangladeshi authorities did little to stop intensifying violence and splendour against indigenous groups residing in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. There were repeated clashes between cultural and religious minority organizations and settlers who participate in the majority Bengali area. These clashes were in part a consequence of government failure to implement its agreement with all the indigenous People of communities to guard their rights. But perhaps the cruellest thing of all for all of us living inside Bangladesh is that unless the us government starts to acknowledge its responsibility to the human rights violations by its law enforcement agencies, nothing at all can change for the better.
