Moral Responsibility

Moral Responsibility

Moral Responsibility refers to the duty that individuals and groups have to act in accordance with the moral principles that are important to their social communities and to humanity at large. It does not necessarily equate to legal responsibility. Moral Responsibility may often be the case that when a person is morally responsible for an act, they are also legally responsible for it, the two states do not always coincide. When people attribute moral responsibility, they usually attribute it to individual moral agents.
