Political Corruption

In politics, corruption undermines democracy as well as good governance by flouting or subverting formal functions. Corruption in elections and from the legislature reduces liability and distorts portrayal in policymaking; corruption from the judiciary compromises rule of legislations. Political corruption is using powers by authorities officials for unlawful private gain. An illegal work by an officeholder comprises political corruption only if the act is directly related to their official responsibilities, is done beneath color of legislations or involves buying and selling in influence.
