State-monopoly Capitalism

State-monopoly capitalism principle aims to define a final historical stage involving capitalism following monopoly capitalism, in line with Lenin’s definition in the characteristics of imperialism throughout his short pamphlet in the same name. The term refers to an environment where the state intervenes in the economy to protect large monopolistic or oligopolistic businesses from competition by smaller firms.
