Social Constructivism is the level of potential development may be the level at which learning comes about. It comprises cognitive structures which can be still along the way of maturing, but which could mature underneath the guidance of or perhaps in collaboration using others. Social constructivism is a sociological theory of knowledge that applies the general philosophical constructivism in the social. The concept has a long theory in sociological and philosophical thought, but the term has been coined by John p Berger and Thomas Luckmann using their book.
