Bid–ask Spread

Bid–ask Spread

Bid-Ask Spread is the amount by that this ask price meets the bid. This is critically the difference in price involving the highest price that a buyer is willing to purchase an asset and also the lowest price is actually a seller is prepared sell it. The bid–ask spread is the difference between the prices quoted (either by way of single market maker or inside a limit order book) for an immediate sale (bid) and a direct purchase (offer).
