Contingent Work is usually a part time, non permanent or contracted employment utilised in emergencies or any specific short project or job. Contingent work, also sometimes referred to as casual work, is a neologism which describes a sort of employment relationship concerning an employer and employee. There is no universally agreed consensus on which working arrangement what people mean about contingent work, but it is accepted as work with a minimum of one of the following characteristics: Temporary job security, Part time and Paid on a piece work basis.
