It is a broadly described annual report of Corporation Bank in the year of 2012-2013. During the financial year, The Bank’s Total Business increased by Rs. 48111 Crore (20.33%) to reach Rs. 284722 Crore as on 31st March 2013 from Rs. 236611 Crore recorded on 31st March 2012. The Total Income of the Bank increased by Rs. 2431.62 Crore (16.76%) to reach Rs.16942.02 Crore. The Operating Profit rose to Rs. 3037 Crore registering a growth of 6.34%. The Net Profit of the Bank marginally decreased from Rs. 1506.04 Crore in the previous year to Rs. 1434.67 Crore during the current year mainly on account of higher provisioning. Earnings per Share stood at Rs. 96.74 and the Book Value per Share rose to Rs. 645.76 from Rs. 558.69.
The Board of Directors of the bank was pleased to recommend a dividend of Rs. 19.00 per equity share of Rs. 10/- each for the year 2012-13.
