Basel II is a banking regulations put forth by the Basel Committee on Bank Supervision, which regulates financing and banking worldwide. Basel II attempts to integrate Basel capital standards with countrywide regulations, by setting the actual minimum capital requirements of loan companies with with regards to ensuring institution liquidity.
