Offshore outsourcing is the practice of hiring an external organization to execute some business functions within a country other as opposed to one where the services or products are actually produced or manufactured. It can be contrasted with offshoring, where a company moves itself entirely overseas, or where functions are performed within a foreign country with a foreign subsidiary.
